    Q. How easy is it to set up this hidden camera?
    We've made it pretty simple to set up the HC215w. Just charge the battery (or plug into AC power), download the live streaming app to your smartphone, and use the app to connect the camera to your existing WiFi network. The whole setup process generally takes about 5-10 minutes.
     
    Q. How is this WiFi nanny cam clock powered?
    The hidden camera can be powered by either battery power (for short term use - up to about 3-4 hours on a full charge), or plug into AC power with the included wall charger. AC power is usually recommended for long term use, while battery power is ideal for short term surveillance situations or for those where you don't have an outlet nearby.
     
    Q. Are there any fees to view, stream, or record my video?
    No there are never any fees with our WiFi cameras. All you need is your existing WiFi connection wherever the camera is placed to live stream your video.
     
    Q. Can I add multiple cameras to monitor different areas of my home or business?

    Q. How do the motion alerts work?
    The camera allows you to enable motion detection alerts/activity alerts, which send you a push notification to your phone, letting you know that your camera has detected activity so you can quickly pull up your live camera feed to see what's going on in your home or office..
     
    Q. Does this hidden camera have audio too?
    Yes it does have both video and audio. Audio is disabled by default, but can be easily enabled through the app if you want to use that feature.
     
    Q. Can I record my video from this hidden camera too?
    Yes you can - the camera will accept up to a 128GB micro SD memory card, so you can record video. You can choose either motion activated or continuous recording, depending on your particular recording needs.
     
    Q. How does the two way push to talk/audio work?
    The clock features both a built in microphone and speaker, so you can use the included streaming app to talk and listen to someone (even a pet!) on the other end of the camera. Just tap the microphone icon to talk, and the speaker icon to listen.
     
    Q. Can multiple people watch the stream at once (such as my spouse or partner)?
    Yes you can share your camera ID and password that you create with someone, and they can monitor the video feed too. Just have them download the app and enter the camera info.
     
    Q. Do I need any special WiFi network or router for this camera?
    The HC215w clock camera is compatible with most wireless WiFi networks. A 2.4GHz signal is needed, which most routers have. Some WiFi networks may have additional layers of security (such as public WiFi networks like a coffee shop or business) that may need additional steps to connect properly, so if you are unsure of the security requirements for your specific network make sure to contact your network administrator to ensure compatibility.
     
    Q. How do I watch my recorded video files?
    There are two ways to view your recorded videos on the memory card. The first is via the app - you can remotely download videos and view them on your phone or tablet. The second method is to physically remove the memory card from the clock and insert it into your PC or Mac with the included USB card reader and double click on your video files to play.
     
    Q. Can I live stream to a PC or Macintosh desktop computer or laptop?
    At this time the camera streams to the smartphone app only, it does not stream to PC or Mac desktop or laptop computers.
