We've designed the alarm clock spy camera to be easy to set up and operate. Just download the live streaming app to your iPhone or Android device, plug the alarm clock into AC power, and use the app to connect the hidden camera to your home's WiFi network (or wherever you place the camera). You'll then be able to live view the camera feed from anywhere in the world. The setup process generally takes about 5-10 minutes.

This hidden spy camera is AC powered by the same power cord that powers the alarm clock itself, so all you need to do is plug it into any regular AC outlet, and the device will have continuous 24/7 power with no battery life concerns to worry about.
Q. Are there any costs or fees to view my live camera feed?
No there are never any monthly costs or fees to view, stream, or record video from this or any of our WiFi streaming hidden cameras. All you need is your existing WiFi network in your home or office (or wherever the camera is physically located).
Q. Can I add additional cameras to monitor from the same app?
Yes you can mix and match this camera with our HC215w mini clock cam and HC350w router camera and view them all from the same app "TinyCam Pro".
Q. How do motion detection alerts work?
Motion alerts notify you instantly if your camera detects activity, so you can quickly pull up your camera feed to see what's going on. You can also set the camera to record to a memory card when it detects motion as well.
Q. Does this spy camera have audio too?
Yes the HC272w has video with audio. The audio can be disabled if needed.
Q. Can I record video from this hidden camera too?
Yes in addition to live streaming you can also record video to a micro SD card. A 128GB memory card is included, which allows you to record almost a week's worth of video at a time.
Q. How does the night vision work?
The alarm clock WiFi hidden camera has built in, invisible 940nm IR night vision sensors which automatically switch on when the lights get low or go out. There is no "red glow" coming from the sensors - they are completely covert. They help the camera lens see at night, so even if the lights are out, the camera will still be able to let you see what's going on.
Q. Can multiple people watch the stream at once (such as my spouse or partner)?
Yes you can share your camera ID and password with someone you trust that you want to be able to watch your camera feed (such as a spouse or partner), and both of you will can watch the live feed from your smartphone.
Q. Do I need any special WiFi network or router for this camera?
The HC272w alarm clock hidden camera is compatible with most wireless WiFi networks. A 2.4GHz signal is needed, which most routers have. Some WiFi networks may have additional layers of security (such as public WiFi networks like a coffee shop or business) that may need additional steps to connect properly, so if you are unsure of the security requirements for your specific network make sure to contact your network administrator to ensure compatibility.
Q. How can I watch my recorded video files?
To watch video files that your camera has recorded, simply remove the memory card from the hidden card slot, and insert into your PC or Mac computer with the included USB card reader, and double click on the video files to play. We recommend VLC Media Player for best playback performance.
Q. Can I stream to a PC or Macintosh desktop computer or laptop?
Currently this camera streams to a smartphone or tablet only, it doesn't stream to desktop or laptop computers.
