AC powered hidden cameras are very useful because they can simply be plugged into an outlet for 24/7 operation, and there are never any battery life concerns to worry about. This makes them ideal for 24/7 surveillance situations, where you can't or don't want to be worried about charging a camera's battery every day. These devices can also be plugged into an extension cord or surge protector, so if you don't have an outlet nearby, or want to adjust the viewing angle of the camera, you can plug it into an extension cord, and plug that into power. And in the case of our hardwired electrical outlet camera, it actually connects directly to your home's wiring for even more covert operation.
