The internal battery has been upgraded to give you up to 24 hours of continuous recording, with 25 days of standby battery life in voice activation mode.The voice recorder flash drive now comes in matte-black finish, and the internal memory has doubled to 8GB, allowing you to store up to 288 hours of audio recordings, or to take your important files and documents with you, just like a traditional flash drive.

Choose between two recording modes - voice activated or continuous recording. To start recording, simply rotate the dial on the end of the flash drive to your desired recording mode. In voice-activation mode, the recorder will only record when audio is detected nearby, while in continuous recording mode, it will record continuously until you turn it off, or until the battery is exhausted.

xxSetting up the HC100w is simple and takes about 5-10 minutes. Just download the streaming/setup app, charge the camera kit's battery (or plug into AC power), and configure using the app on your smartphone.

Q. How is the pinhole spy camera kit powered?

xxThe camera kit can be either battery or AC powered, depending on your specific recording needs. In battery power, the camera can operate up to 4-5 hours on a single charge. For longer term use we recommend using AC power for 24/7 operation with no battery life concerns to worry about.

Q. Are there any fees to view, stream, or record my video?

xxNo there are not - all you need is your existing wireless internet connection.

Q. Can I add multiple cameras to monitor different areas of my home or business?

xxxYxxes you can - you can view as many cameras via the app so you can monitor multiple rooms or areas. You can even have cameras in different locations (ie. one at home and one at your office) and monitor them all from the app at once, assuming each is connected to a WiFi signal at their respective locations.

Q. How do I watch my live streaming video?

xxTo watch your live streaming video, you simply need to open the app on your iPhone or Android device and click on the camera you want to view.

Q. What are motion detection/activity alets?

xxMotion detection alerts are handy because they allow you to get instantly notified if your camera detects movement or activity, which meakes it ideal for home security or office security when you aren't around.

Q. Can I record my video too?

xxYes you can - in addition to live streaming, you can also record video to a micro SD card hidden inside the camera kit. The HC100w accepts up to a 64GB memory card, which can store dozens of hours of video.

Q. Can I adjust different camera settings?

xxYes you can - via the app you can adjust over a dozen different camera settings including video resolution, streaming quality, time/date stamp, motion sensitivity, contrast, and many more. This allows you to customize the streaming and recording to your exact needs.

Q. Can multiple people watch the stream at once (such as my spouse or partner)?

xxYes you can have multiple people able to watch the live stream at once, so for example, if you wanted to install the streaming app on your spouse's phone so you can both watch your cameras at home, would just need to enter the camera ID and password in the app on the second phone so you can both watch it.

Q. Do I need any special WiFi network or router for this camera?

xxThe HC100w is compatible with most wireless networks. A 2.4GHz signal is needed, which most routers have. Some networks may have additional layers of security (such as public WiFi networks like a coffee shop or business) that may need additional steps to connect properly, so if you are unsure of the security requirements for your specific network make sure to contact your network administrator to ensure compatibility.

Q. How do I watch my recorded video files?

xxThere are two ways to view your videos recorded on the memory card. The first is to remove the memory card and insert into the card reader in your computer (PC or Mac) and double click on the files to play. We recommend VLC Media Player for playback for best performance. You can also remotely download the videos to your smartphone to view, however this can be time consuming since the files can be large and depends on your connection speed.

Q. What if I don't have a WiFi network in my house? Can the camera operate in P2P mode?

xxThis camera is primarily designed as a WiFi streaming camera, however you can operate it in P2P mode if you prefer. P2P mode allows you to stream to a smartphone nearby using short-range P2P connection, which allows you to monitor the camera feed from up to 15-20 feet away.

Q. Can I live stream to a PC or Macintosh desktop computer or laptop?

xxxThe camera streams to an iPhone or Android device only, it doesn't stream to PC or Mac computers.

Q. Can the HC100w be used outdoors?

xxThe HC100w is not a weather resistant camera, it is designed for indoor use only.
